Cattle-beast stuck under stock truck on SH1 at Timaru

A cattle-beast stuck under a stock truck blocked the northbound lane of State Highway 1 through Timaru on Wednesday so it could be freed.
The cattle beast became stuck underneath the trailer of a Transport Waimate stock truck on Theodosia St (SH1), near the intersection with North St.

An eyewitness said they freed the cattle-beast by moving the truck back slightly, and it did not seem to have received any injuries.

It was tied up before being freed and was then checked and treated for injuries.
